cool youtube links part one

I’m a big YouTube watcher. Highlights, interviews, random stuff, there’s endless stuff to pass the boredom.

Today, there’s still great stuff. There’s also AI nonsense that clips and gives a generic description intended to appeal to a wider audience. Those videos suck.

These videos don’t suck. They’re some of my favorites I go back to every once in a while. Some are fun, others more serious, and whatever is in between. Gotta have balance in your life.

I’ll do more parts to this and do other posts for links and quality journalism out there. Hope this makes you enjoy the day a little more.

This is a montage created by Linkara on his original History of Power Rangers video when Red Ranger Andros shatters Zordon’s energy tube, at Zordon’s insistence, at the end of Power Rangers in Space. This eradicated the United Alliance of Evil after they had taken over the entire universe. It caps off the first six seasons of Power Rangers and ushers in a new era where every season is a new theme and new cast.

The montage has been changed on Linkara’s updated History of Power Rangers series, but I’m glad someone saved the Under Pressure original version.

Iconic scene from That 70’s Show where Eric is caught between his tutor pupil and Donna because of some loose panties found in his car.

Papi is Dan LeBetard’s Cuban father who loves a good high-five fakeout. This was right around the time racist morons started whining about ESPN being “woke” so many of these people no longer work for the Mothership, thus why the only person allowed to show personality on the network in 2025 is a bald white dude.

Anyway, this is a fun watch as LeBetard always reacts.

COPA90 videos are probably the best soccer documentary videos out there. Eli Mengem and crew go around the world to tell stories about rivalries, big games, big players and all there’s to fit in between.

This video covers the Superclasico in Argentina between River Plate and Boca Juniors when they were about to face off in a two-leg South American Confederation Club Final, the Copa Libertadores.

The video is 55 minutes and amazing. One of the best videos COPA90 has done.

Based on that thumbnail, you want to make some jambalaya, don’t you? I’ve tried several of AB’s recipes and they’re packed full of flavor. Plus, it’s soothing to hear him talk.

David Lee Roth, on and off with Van Halen, talks about the infamous Brown M&M’s story. It’s funny, but it’s also a great lesson in making sure people read contracts and understand what they’re doing.

Another example of DLR ensuring efficiency was only giving backstages passes to the crew (and access to the roadies and groupies) after they finished tearing down the set. DLR said this cut tear-down time from 9 hours to 94 minutes, cutting down heavily on union golden hours and saving the band a lot of money.

Deadline Day in English football is a big deal, and it use to be a bigger deal as teams were more prone to making last-minute deals before the transfer window closed. It’s as close as English football gets to the NFL Draft.

This is from Deadline Day 2023, where West Brom’s Peter Odemwingie tried to force a last-minute move to Queens Park Rangers. He had issues with West Brom, but the move never happened, despite him trying to show up at QPR.

Odemwingie never played for QPR and retired in 2018.

Fan-made animation of the aftermath of the boss fight in the original Metal Gear game, given the events like seven games later in Metal Gear Solid 5.

Billy Napier lol

The story is Furman coach Bobby Lamb called a run play, but Napier changed it to a pass in the huddle. Lamb didn’t tell the media that and took the blame.

The Furmie who caught the touchdown is Bear Rhinehardt, who founded Needtoobreath and played a concert at that same stadium years later.

Napier later coached Louisiana and eventually won a game at Kidd Brewer Stadium after his quarterback ran backwards 35 yards for a safety. Bobby Lamb’s son Taylor, who was a ballboy that day, later became a four-year starting quarterback for App State.

For me and my southern suburban school, we picked strawberries at a plantation. I can’t remember if we kept the strawberries or not.
